Andrea Costa is a bronze relief of the profile of Andrea Costa (1851–1910), an Italian Master Mason and socialist activist. After renouncing his anarchist principles in 1879, he co-founded the Partito dei Lavoratori Italiani in 1892. The Italian commune of Dozza honoured him by naming a square after him and creating this relief. Dozza is known for its festival of the painted wall, held every two years in September, when national and international artists paint permanent works on the walls of the houses.
