This Attic Votive Relief is carved in Pentelic marble and once stood on a pillar or stele, with a frame on three sides; holes along the edges held metal pins. The pillar once named the figures: a small dedicator at far left and four deities in the main position. Acquired in Athens in 1895 and reputedly found at Piraeus, it is a handsome relief strongly influenced by the Parthenon frieze, from about 420 BC.
Made to order and hand-finished in the Netherlands. Choose from 11 sizes, from a 7 cm miniature to a 48 cm statement piece, in marble white, gold, bronze or any colour you like. Explore more pieces in our Europa collection.
