This Bust of Corneille van Clève portrays the French sculptor (1645–1732), known for several works now housed in the Louvre. The bust itself was sculpted by Jean-Jacques Caffieri, one of the great portraitists of eighteenth-century France. A fitting tribute from one sculptor to another, and an elegant portrait for collectors of French art.
