Chinese Tiger is a bronze tiger with a socket that clearly served as the base for an upright support. Details such as the rope patterns around the eyes, on the socket, eyebrows and fetlocks and the granulation on the ears point to a date around 500 BCE. A strong and characterful animal figure.
