Funerary Relief of Sosias and Kephisodoros is a marble relief from around 410 BC, the final phase of the Peloponnesian War. It shows two citizen soldiers of Athens with large round shields, lances and cone-shaped pilos helmets. The bearded man on the left, in the robes of an Athenian priest, is possibly a seer, whose advice had to be sought before any battle.
