Beschrijving
Gowe is a stone sculpture from the Gomo district in the centre of Nias, Indonesia, from the 16th–17th century. Such sculptures commemorated the power or new rank of a person and increased his prestige. The original is in the Musée du Cinquantenaire in Brussels.
