Grave Relief: Philosophers Debating and Underworld is a marble relief from Rhodes, 3rd–2nd century BC, signed by the sculptor Damatrios. It belonged to the tomb of Hieronymus of Tlos, a Rhodian philosopher of Aristotle’s school named in the inscription. The left part shows him as a philosopher in debate, the right part a scene of the afterlife, extremely rare in Greek art.
