This is one of the many panels from a ceiling at Limnerslease, the Guildford home of the artists Mary and G.F. Watts, dating from the early years of their marriage. The decoration recalls the couple’s long honeymoon through Egypt, Greece, Turkey, Sicily and France, after which a stay in Compton in 1889 led them to found the Arts and Crafts community now known as Watts Gallery – Artists’ Village.
Made to order and hand-finished in the Netherlands. Choose from 11 sizes, from a 7 cm miniature to a 48 cm statement piece, in marble white, gold, bronze or any colour you like. Explore more pieces in our Europa collection.
