This Limnerslease ceiling panel comes from the house of Mary and G.F. Watts in Guildford, from the early years of their marriage. After a six-month honeymoon through Egypt, Greece, Turkey, Sicily and France and a stay with friends in Compton in the winter of 1889, the couple founded the Arts and Crafts complex now known as Watts Gallery – Artists’ Village.
