The Lion of Nectanebo is one of a pair of lions from the reign of Nectanebo I, originally at Rehuy, today Tell Baqliya, in a shrine of the god Thoth symbolising the reconciliation of Horus and Set. In Roman imperial times they were moved to Rome, possibly near the Pantheon or the Temple of Isis. Rediscovered in the 15th century, they were placed at the Pantheon by Pope Clement VII and later adorned the Acqua Felice fountain.
