This terracotta mask of a satyr has been scanned at the entrance of a house in a small village in Sicily, Italy. The name of the village is Castelmola, situated at the top of a small mountain. In Sicily, it’s quite typical finding masks such as this one. The terracotta masks usually portray characters from the Sicilian heritage and mythology such as cyclopes, satyres and more mythological creatures.
