Monument Jonathan Swift’s ‘Gulliver’s Travels’ honours the hero of Swift’s novel and was placed in the courtyard of the Philological Faculty of St Petersburg State University in November 2007. Created by the sculptor Timur Yusufov, it consists of a succession of five bronze Gullivers, decreasing in size, each standing in the palm of the previous one. The monument is meant to embody infinity and relativity.
