This Naophorous statue with Osiris shrine is an unfinished statue of a non-royal man holding a shrine, made for the cult of Osiris. It would have stood in a temple, allowing the man to take part symbolically in the rituals performed there. A fine piece of ancient Egyptian devotion.
Made to order and hand-finished in the Netherlands. Choose from 11 sizes, from a 7 cm miniature to a 48 cm statement piece, in marble white, gold, bronze or any colour you like.
