This Pallas Head by Antoine Bourdelle depicts the goddess Pallas Athena. It is kept in the Musée Bourdelle in the 15th arrondissement of Paris, housed in the sculptor’s former studio. The museum shows how a French studio looked around 1900. Bourdelle worked in Rodin’s studio for fifteen years, yet always kept a strong, independent and innovative style.
