Relief is based on an ancient relief displayed at the Antike am Königsplatz in Munich. The museum presents Bavaria’s collections of antiquities from Greece, Etruria and Rome, while the sculpture collection is located in the Glyptothek on the opposite side of the square. Ancient Egypt has its own museum in the city.
