Beschrijving
Relief with the Creation shows scenes of the creation of Adam and Eve together with figures of sibyls. In the creation story of the Abrahamic religions, Adam and Eve were the first man and woman, the single pair from whom all humanity descends. The story is also the basis of the Christian doctrines of the fall of man and original sin. The sibyls were women whom the ancient Greeks believed to be oracles; according to legend, the earliest sibyls prophesied at holy sites such as Delphi and Pessinos, inspired by a deity.
