Swan House, Brussels shows the swan of the famous Maison du Cygne, De Swaene, one of the Baroque guild houses on the Grand-Place of Brussels. The house was built in 1698, and a plaque records that Karl Marx celebrated New Year’s Eve 1847/1848 there. A charming souvenir of one of Europe’s most beautiful squares.
