Here Ivan Mestrovic sculpted his mother. The artist is one of the most valued Croatian artists from the first half of the 20th century. Mestrovic had the chance to study and work in many important cities such as: Cannes, Paris, Belgrade, Rome, Geneva and Lausanne. After his studies, he also worked as a university professor of the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb.
