Wild Boar Cooking is a statuary group showing a wild boar placed half inside a cauldron, with two figures with Silenus-like features. The younger bends down to blow on the fire, while the other prepares the boar. The original of this unusual group can be dated to the middle Hellenistic period, 2nd century BC.
