Statue of Hermes made of Pentelic marble and found at Aigion, Peloponnese. The god is depicted standing, wearing a chlamys that is wound around his left arm. In his right hand, he holds a purse and in his left the caduceus. Work of the Augustan period (27 BC-AD 14), probably funerary inspired by Lysippean originals of the 4th c. BC.
