Seti II was the fifth pharaoh of Egypt’s Nineteenth Dynasty, reigning around 1203–1197 BC. His throne name means ‘Powerful are the manifestations of Re, the chosen one of Re’. This portrait captures the royal headdress and composed gaze of an Egyptian king – a powerful statement piece for lovers of ancient Egypt.
