Beardless man with a fur cap is a carved pear wood bust of an unknown beardless man wearing a fur hat and holding a book. The bust comes from the Fugger Chapel in Augsburg, which Jakob Fugger the Rich had built in the 16th century as a burial place for himself and his family. It is believed that members of the Fugger family may be represented in the figures. A refined example of German Renaissance woodcarving.
