The Head of a sleeping girl shows a face turned aside with closed eyelids and parted lips, suggesting sleep or death. The body is missing. It was found with a statue of a falling youth and may portray one of Niobe’s dead daughters from a group showing the massacre of the Niobids. It is an Imperial-period copy of a late Hellenistic bronze original.
