This Lion and Tiger tiger is by Alfred Jacquemart, the French sculptor and animalier who made famous public works such as the Rhinoceros and large bronze lions in Paris. It is a rare 19th-century cast from his Lion and Tiger pair, made in 1866 at the Val d’Osne foundry near Dijon. A powerful wild cat for any interior.
