Statuette of Pan made of Pentelic marble and found in the Olympieion, Athens. The goat-footed god sits cross-legged on a rock covered with an animal pelt. He will have held the pan-pipe in his hands. Work carved in the 2nd c. BC copying an earlier original, probably of the 4th c. BC.
