In this scene of The Fall of Adam and Eve, the serpent is sculpted all around the side of the capital and the tree. In this scene sculpted in marble, the snake has already tempted Eve who is offering the apple to Adam. The original of this work can be seen at the Museum of Farinier de Cluny. This copy has been realised for the Cité de l’architecture et du patrimoine.
